Digital Terrestrial Television

Working closely with the Continuing Education Office of the University of Surrey, Mandercom is responsible for two highly acclaimed short courses:

 

• “Digital Terrestrial Television: An Overview” (3 days)

• "High Definition Television" (2 days)

 

We set the course content, ensuring that it remains up to date, and select speakers from across UK industry, as well as presenting on the DTT course ourselves.

 

Satellite Broadcasting

The University of Surrey runs a popular week long course “Satellite Communications”.  Mandercom Limited provides a lecturer on the last day of the course, explaining satellite broadcasting as an application that brings together much of what has been learned during the previous four days.

 

Mandercom has also provided three days of lectures and practical demonstrations on satellite communications at the University of Derby.

 

TV Contribution Links

Mandercom has recently introduced a 1-day training course "Introduction to Satellite TV Contribution Links", intended primarily for broadcaster operations staff, but readily adaptable to anyone who needs to gain a basic understanding of satellite technology for TV transmission.
